ok. i was late to meet them @ city hall mrt station, cos my dad wanted to buy lights @brasbasar, so ya, i reached there late, with athi, celeste, livia, n almost sheri calling me:( so when i got there, i started scolding them, while walking to vch. we almost got lost, cos honestly, all of us didn noe how to get there. so we asked this stranger n she said, go tt dir. so we ran in tt dir. soon aft, i sorta recognised the place n knew how to walk le. so brought all of them there, still running. when we reached there, only then did we noe tt we were extremely early-.-" n tt we had wasted much of our energy running.
so livia went to get the stuff frm madeline n yeong eun to record, while the rest of us were panting n everything. so......extra of me to wear a singlet. could tell lotsa ppl were staring:( many of the seniors see us here den take us as hangers. dump all their bags on us. jia yee got the most. she almost fell while going up the stairs. so i helped her take some stuff (which inc siying's bag, coincidentally) n went into the hall. i had just been in tt place like 2wks ago??? n same row smmore i think.
went cedar went on stage, all of us went in front to sit n we clapped like so loudly 4 them. ruixian, wanning n shangyu saw us i think. shangyu was giving sheri the dagger stare. lol. so we didn really care. they were all recording stuff whilst i was dancing to their music. ok, not dancing. moving to the beat. aft they went offstage we quickly go back to our seats. the sch aft us, junyuan sec, seemed better though. i was panicking!!! so was sheri, though she wasn bouncing up n down like me. lol.
then another sch. n another. n another. then intermission. so i went to the front to ask siying where the rest were, n she said "o, go back school alr."(sheri almost cried) so siying saw her expression n was like, pointing to rx, "orh. she's there." then sheri was like "huh? no la. i dun ou her alr" siying looked quie taken aback, so i told her "she ou (whisper) smth. smth. smth". so she immediately guess correct n i was laughing the evil laugh. lolololol. outside the hall i suddenly need to use the toilet, so i went to ask them where the toilet was(actually i knew alr, but i had no idea y i asked)so they told me follow them, so all of us went, inc sheri hu aft going into the cubicle found out tt she didn need to use it. in the toilet they were like talking like it was cedar toilet like tt. so loud n everything. so i went toilet. came out 4 sheri to use it. n as i said just now, she came out when she realised she didn even need it. she didn even find me when she went out, but followed carmen upstairs. i was persuading myself not to shout wtf to sheri cos she left me alone downstairs. so i ran aft her, n carmen said i was "extra" i think she even more extra lor. only she need junior to accompany her.hmph! den she invited us to sit behind them, which we did, n so while we were waiting 4 intermission to end, we listened to "i will survive" on amirah's phone n the recorded yiddish dance. den bell rang n we switch off everything.
the last performer b4 the results come out was mozart winds or smth. there was this lao ape playing the clar n he kept moving, as in his body, to the music. at the start siying was nodding her head to the beat. aft the music kept going on n on n on, she stopped n followed all the rest of the leaders to fall asleep. i also fell asleep, only to wake up when suddenly sm1 hit the bass drum. so tts how it went. sleep, wake up, sleep, wake up. so sian lor!
so when they finally finish playing, everybody clapped so hard(cos it was finally over). so the emcee said "the judges will discuss the marks........n we'll announce it later". so we were like "huh???? still need to wait ah???" n they discuss so long lor. my heart was beating so hard!!!! siying n chinghong were bending down. i'll bet they were praying. i was praying also, n siying smiled cos i think she found me v funny wearing the singlet(thx to the perverted brain of carmen, but i will NOT discuss tt).
so first they announce the first band's results "gold". den it came. "cedar girls' secondary school. (pause) GOLD" all of us screamed!!!!!!! it was too good to be true!!! but it was!!! surprisingly, the band aft us, junyuan sec, which i tot was better only got silver. sm things r just weird eh? so aft she announced, siying, chinghong, rx n amira did "CSB KEMAMA!" n we were so loud. less than 20 ppl!!!!!
so they went to call ms sia n shouted "thank u ms sia!" into the phone. all of us were so high!!! i was v high too:):):):) we did it!!!!
